Representatives from Charger Group Limited, creators of Black Legend Coffee Gin, recently visited the Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, at his residence in Accra. The delegation, led by CEO Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, conveyed their respects to both the Ga Mantse and the Ga Traditional Council.
Dual Purpose of the Visit
The visit, held last Monday, had two main purposes. Firstly, it was to express appreciation for the Ga Mantse’s role in ensuring a peaceful Homowo festival. Secondly, it served as the official introduction of Black Legend Coffee Gin to the Ga Mantse before its upcoming launch.
Purpose and Presentation
In an interview, Mr. Borketey explained the visit’s purpose: “As a company, we consider him one of the Black Legends in Africa, so we came to present the Black Legend Coffee Gin to him officially.” During the visit, Mr. Borketey also offered condolences to the family of Ga Manye Naa Dedei Omaedru III, as well as to the chiefs and elders of the Ga Traditional Council. Charger Group Limited presented a range of their products, including Happy Man Bitters and Black Legend Coffee Gin.
Ga Mantse’s Response
The Ga Mantse expressed pride in the local company’s achievements in the beverage industry. He encouraged Charger Group Limited to adhere strictly to the Food and Drugs Authority’s regulations, emphasizing the importance of longevity and growth. Additionally, he urged the company’s staff to support the CEO by demonstrating a strong work ethic and punctuality.
